Lysergic acid diethylamide

Peripherally, a serotonin antagonist; 1–2mcg or less per kilogram induces hallucinatory states; its use may precipitate psychoses. It was formerly occasionally used in the treatment of long-term alcoholism and psychotic disorders. Abbreviated LSD.
