Leptospiral jaundice

Weil's disease; a leptospirosis that is characterized by chills, fever, muscle pain, and hepatitis manifested by more or less severe jaundice and that is caused by a spirochete of the genus Leptospira (L. interrogans, especially serotype icterohaemorrhagiae).
