Inferior olivary nucleus

A mass of densely packed nerve cells comprising medial and dorsal accessory olivary nuclei, as well as a principal olivary nucleus that is found in the form of folded laminae with a medial opening. It projects to all segments of the cerebellar cortex's contralateral half via the olivocerebellar tract.
