Imbalance

1. A lack of balance, as in distribution or functioning. 2. A term used in Asian medicine to characterize illness, resulting from a fundamental imbalance between yin and yang energies that results in secondary imbalances in qi, blood, essence (jing), spirit (shen), fluids, and/or organs.
