Hypopituitarism

1. Decreased or diminished production of pituitary hormones. 2. The condition resulting from a deficiency in pituitary hormone, especially growth hormone, characterized by dwarfism in children and sometimes by decreased activity of the thyroid, adrenal, or gonadal glands.
