Holistic

1. Of or relating to holism. 2. Emphasizing the importance of the whole and the interdependence of its parts, concerned with wholes rather than analysis or separation into parts: holistic medicine; holistic ecology. 3. Referring to a system of medicine which addresses all levels of a person’s being: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Holistic healing techniques are concerned with a person’s diet, medical treatment, exercise programs, habits and stress-reduction techniques.
